Richard Jiang graduated in 1985 from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (after 5 years of study) with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine, majoring in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese Therapeutic Massage.
Richard also obtained a master’s degree in Medical Science in 1993 from Monash University, Melbourne.
During the last 27 years, Richard has spent many years in clinical practice, teaching and researching acupuncture and herbal medicine whilst working at Beijing Hospital (which was affiliated to the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and also in his own clinics on the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and New Zealand.
Richard is a member of the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA).
Richard and his wife Sheree have run their clinic "Sunshine Traditional Chinese Medical Clinic" on the Sunshine Coast for 10 years and are currently located at Bokarina. They have a true commitment to helping their patients achieve wellness through traditional Eastern medicine and take a more holistic approach to healing.
